Refund & Cancellation Policy

Section 1
Digital Services — General Policy
Otaku Shinden provides digital subscription services. Because access to platform features is granted immediately upon payment, all purchases are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except in the specific cases listed below.
Section 2
Subscription Plans
If you cancel your subscription, you retain access to your current plan features until the end of the paid billing period. No partial-period refunds are issued for unused days. You may cancel at any time from your profile settings.
Section 3
Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges
If you were charged more than once for the same transaction, or charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error on our end, we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge within 5 business days of a verified report.
Section 4
OtakuCoins
OtakuCoins are a virtual in-platform currency. Purchased OtakuCoins are non-refundable once credited to your account, regardless of whether they have been spent. Please ensure you intend to use them before purchasing.
Section 5
Season Passes
Season Passes are non-refundable after activation. If a season is cancelled by Otaku Shinden before it begins, you will receive a full refund or equivalent OtakuCoins credit at your choice.
Section 6
Failed or Incomplete Payments
If a payment was deducted from your account but your subscription or purchase was not activated due to a technical failure, contact support with your transaction reference. We will resolve it within 3 business days.
Section 7
How to Request a Refund
Email support@otakushinden.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [your username]". Include your registered email address, the date of the transaction, and the transaction ID or order reference from your payment confirmation. We respond within 48 hours.
Section 8
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in immediate account suspension. We strongly encourage resolving any billing concerns directly with us first.
Section 9
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this refund policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
